Services — Backup & Disaster Recovery
Backup and disaster recovery without surprises.
Verified copies, periodically tested restores and a written plan for the worst day: backup, disaster recovery and business continuity for SMEs, monitored 24/7. Because a backup you've never restored doesn't exist.
Key areas
The four things we do.
Managed backup
Automatic copies following the 3-2-1 rule: multiple copies, different media, one off-site. With alerts when something fails.
Disaster recovery
A written plan for worst-case scenarios — ransomware, hardware failure, fire — with recovery times defined beforehand, not discovered after.
Business continuity
How the company keeps working while systems are restored: spare workstations, clear priorities, who does what.
Restore testing
We periodically restore for real: it's the only way to know the backup works. With a report for every test.
Managed IT — Proactive
An untested backup is a hope, not a plan.
The difference always shows at the worst moment. With Nagitek, backups are monitored daily and verified with trial restores: if a copy fails, we know before you need it.
For Microsoft 365 data — email, OneDrive, Teams — we work as partners with Hornetsecurity: backing up what everyone assumes is already safe in the cloud, and the cloud alone does not guarantee.

Frequently asked questions
How often are copies made?+
It depends on how much work you can afford to lose: for many SMEs backup is daily, more frequent for critical data. We decide together, dataset by dataset.
Where does our data end up?+
In several places, never just one: a local copy for fast restores and an off-site one (European cloud or another site) for serious scenarios. Encrypted at every step.
Does backup protect against ransomware?+
It's the last line of defence: an offline or immutable copy that ransomware cannot encrypt lets you restart without paying. It has to be designed that way from the start.
How much does downtime cost us?+
Usually more than the backup that would have prevented it: lost hours across the whole company, missed deliveries, customers to call back. The diagnosis includes exactly this estimate, with your numbers.
What are RTO and RPO, in plain words?+
RPO: how much work you can lose (the last usable copy). RTO: how long you can stay down (the time to restore). Defining them beforehand is what turns backup into a plan.
Not sure where to start?
Start with a diagnosis, not a product.
