The myth worth dismantling
«Macs don't get viruses anyway.»
They get less malware than Windows, true. But phishing doesn't check the logo on the laptop, a stolen MacBook with an unencrypted disk is a GDPR data breach, and a NIS2 supplier questionnaire asks about the Macs too. The apple doesn't make the difference: management does.
That's why the Macs we look after have verified encryption, governed updates and an always-current inventory — the same questions an audit asks you to answer.

The questions we get about Apple fleets.
Do you manage companies with both Macs and Windows PCs?+
Yes, and it's the most common case: administration on Windows, design or management on Macs. We run both worlds to the same standards — monitoring, updates, backup — with a single point of contact. You don't need one supplier per platform.
We only have five Macs: is management worth it?+
It depends what runs on them. Five Macs in a studio holding client projects are worth more than fifty warehouse PCs: if one disappears or breaks, the damage isn't measured in devices. Management is sized on risk, not on headcount.
What is Jamf, and why do you use it?+
It's the reference platform for managing Apple devices in business: it enrols devices, applies configurations, deploys apps and verifies security posture, centrally. We use it as partners because it's the tool Apple itself recommends for fleets — and because a Mac managed with Windows-first tools stays half-managed.
What happens if a MacBook is lost or stolen?+
If the device is managed: it gets locked remotely, wiped if needed, and FileVault encryption makes the data unreadable to whoever holds it. The police report and the GDPR assessment remain — but with an encrypted disk and a documented wipe, that assessment ends very differently.
Can employees' personal iPhones be managed?+
Yes, without intruding: on personal devices only the work perimeter is managed — email, business apps, minimum security requirements. The company can remove its own data when the relationship ends; nobody touches photos, chats or anything else.
Do new Macs really arrive already configured?+
Yes — that's zero-touch: the device is purchased linked to Apple Business Manager, and on first boot it enrols and configures itself — accounts, apps, security rules. The employee opens the box and works; nobody has to stop by the office to «prepare the computer».
How much does Apple device management cost?+
It depends on how many devices there are and what's actually needed — management alone, or advanced security and user support too. The first step is the fleet snapshot, free of charge: out of it comes a clear scope and a monthly fee to match, in writing.
